My name is Pippa Carey and I’m the founder of Thrive Nutrition. I’m a BANT registered Nutritional Therapist based in Oxfordshire and I practise out of clinics both in Wantage and Botley.
I started out with a degree in History and French, followed by a busy career in Retail Management which was replaced by an even busier family life. It was becoming a mother to two gorgeous girls and preparing meals for our busy household when I began to understand the impact that good food could have on my family’s daily life and future health. This ultimately became my motivation to pursue a qualification in Nutritional Therapy.
I hold a BSc in Nutritional Therapy from the accredited course offered by the University of West London, in addition I have a strong programme of professional development acquiring further knowledge and skills by attending regular training and keeping up to date with current research in the field of nutrition. When I am not pursuing my interest in Nutrition or being wife and mum, I am chief dog walker for Lulu, our energetic German short-haired Pointer.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists and the regulatory body of Complementary and Natural Healthcare (CNHC), and as such I am bound by their Code of Conduct. I am fully insured to practice and treat all client information in the strictest of confidence, in compliance with the Data Protection Act.
Motivated by my enjoyment of good nutritious food, coupled with the knowledge of nutrition science, I provide practical and professional advice to clients in their quest to achieve optimum health and in so doing, encourage them to thrive.
